  • Project Information: Part of the Central Utilities Initiative (CUI) Phase I project, the Highland Energy Plant was constructed to increase Vanderbilt’s capacity for utility generation and improved distribution lines. The Highland Energy Plant is designed to support the current buildings with electricity, steam, hot water, and chilled water, with the ability to anticipate and evolve to accommodate innovative technologies that have yet to be developed.
